What this policy covers

This policy describes how we handle personal data when you visit sarsfield.eu, send an enquiry, buy seats through Stripe Checkout, or use Fleet Ready. Fleet operators remain data controllers for their driver and fleet records; SARSFIELD acts as a processor for customer data under contract.

Data we collect

• Website visitors: contact details you submit on the optional demo form (name, company, email, fleet size, message).
• Buyers: company name, email, WhatsApp number, vehicle plates, and the billing details Stripe collects at Checkout. We do not store card numbers.
• Fleet Ready users: operator accounts, driver records (including licence and CPC dates you type, an Irish driver number and NDLS Driver Statement PDF when uploaded), vehicle data, walkaround checks (including GPS and a place line), defects, NCT or CVRT and motor-tax dates from Check My Vehicle on Irish plates, MOT and tax dates you type on British plates, and compliance exports.
• WhatsApp: the number you give us is used as the login path (magic link) and for operator alerts. We send session messages through Meta WhatsApp Cloud API when configured.
• Technical data: server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use data

We use personal data to respond to enquiries, deliver Fleet Ready, maintain platform security, meet legal obligations, and improve our services. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

Legal basis (GDPR)

Processing is based on contract performance (Fleet Ready customers), legitimate interests (website security and B2B enquiries), and consent where required (e.g. optional analytics if enabled).

Storage & transfers

Data is hosted within the EU. We apply encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and audit logging. Data is retained only as long as needed for the stated purpose or as required by law.

Your rights

Under GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Contact info@sarsfield.ie. You may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland).
